Patches and trims supplier Vivolo has updated its offering to include embellishments that can be appliedto pockets and other areas of clothing, including embroidery, laser effects, indigo laser removal, 3D relief effects and photo laser designs, enhanced with embroidered edging and plaque lettering.
Back patches and waistband labels have been updated for spring-summer 2026 collections with printed, washed, waxed and reverse-embroidered split leather; heat-printed or digitally printed raffia; padded, printed and embroidered split leather with a neoprene effect; and recycled, heat-printed microfibre.
The family-run ltalian company, which produces 8 million articles per year from its facility in San Lazzaro, ended the year 3% down in revenue compared with the year before, which it said was positive considering the downturn in the luxury sector.
Founder Luciano Vivolo said: ”The luxury sector is experiencing a crisis with deeper roots than many might imagine. At Vivolo, we are tackling this situation as we always have, by working patiently, designing, cutting, sewing and creating one piece at a time, but always looking towards the horizon to recognise new opportunities and needs.”
Earlier this year, 12 months after inaugurating its new headquarters, Vivolo announced the expansion of its production department, investing €1 million in new machinery and extra staff to expand its footwear and leathergoods offering. The company also hired extra sales agents in Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and the Far East, focusing on South Korea and Japan.
Vivolo, which has recently achieved the Oeko-Tex Leather Standard, is drafting its first susta inability report.
